What is Sa'i?

Sa'i is the ritual of walking seven times between the hills of Safa and Marwah, which are located near the Kaaba.

This ritual commemorates Hajar's (Hagar's) search for water for her son Ismail (Ishmael).

Procedure:

• Start at Safa and face the Kaaba
• Walk to Marwah (first circuit)
• Walk back to Safa (second circuit)
• Continue until you complete seven circuits
• End at Marwah
